
Weyman Gong, CFA, is a Principal and Portfolio Manager at Signature. Weyman specializes in traditional and alternative investments for high net worth individuals and families. He monitors economic and financial trends in order to develop sophisticated asset allocations for the firm’s clients.
Having lived and worked in the U.S. and China, Weyman brings to Signature his economic knowledge and global prospective in today’s investment world. Prior to joining the firm, he worked with Sanwa Bank, Ltd., then one of the world’s largest banks. Weyman's experience in international finance and education is an invaluable resource for the Signature investment team. Since 2009, he has visited more than 10 countries in the course of his work, including Brazil, China, India, and Russia.
Weyman frequently shares his investment expertise with Wall Street reporters and is a periodic guest on business TV. He is a board member on Old Dominion University Educational Foundation and a member of its investment committee. He also donates his time and resources to various local charities.
Weyman received his MBA degree at Regent University and finished coursework for his Ph.D. in finance from Old Dominion University. He also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
